   The Family all Europe is talking about.

In 1991 Heinz Meier a personal friend of mine for over 25 years purchased the entire foundation Schellens  breeders. Approx 12 pairs. Included the foundation cock  “De Argenton”  83 Belg 6114062  In this time period Herbots Bro.  Purchased both “ Nationaal 1” and “Goede Jaarling ” top racers of Foundation cock” De Argenton “. Heinz felt it more important to purchase all the proven breeders instead. Another key breeder was the Schellens  “  Maes  “ Cock 86 Belg 6437552  Several lofts in Europe are founded on this one cock alone. Heinz paid $40,000 D/M  for this one cock alone. Several breeders knowing the great value of this cock offered Heinz $10,000 D/M for any Y/B from him but none were sold. I was presented a Son from “  Maes 1  “as a gift. No need to say anymore about our friendship. While at the home of Karl Schellens he told Heinz Meier and I that one of the pairs he called the  " De Poot " pair bred his best birds in the last two years and to be sure to keep this pair  together.  He was 100% correct both Heinz Meier with his " Zucht-Ass " 499 09711 DV 95 foundation cock and our Bieche Lofts " Warlord " 551 09711 DV 96 are both direct sons of the Karl Schellens " De Poot Pair. We are the only loft in America that have this original Schellens blood line.  

Due to our close friendship with Heinz Meier      On many occasions I was personally  asked to grade all the Schellens breeders and also paired several of the key Schellens breeders together to save the family as a whole . One such matting that proved to be golden was the " De 499 "  Foundation Cock matted to  Belg. 98 22114488 a daughter of the Schellens " Goede  Jaarling "  Many of the today's winners are down from some of the same pairs that I placed together . In exchange I received birds from the same matting's.

Years Later  Heinz! Just like Schellens himself is still adding one or two new birds to the family to keep them as strong or even stronger than the past. To show the new introductions are truly working I will list the remarkable current  race result.

 First keep in mind that     Germany have more registered  flyers than Belgium or Holland.

                 2007      Best Yearling of all German plus 2nd best loft of all Germany

                            2009      Best hen of all Germany with one of the highest Ace points recorded.

                                  2010      1-2-3-5 Ace hens of all Germany.  The 1st and 2nd hens were nest mats.  

 With sadness  Heinz passed away May  2010
